Got a lot of rest in December 2024. Been dealing with a lot of lack of motivation and not feeling like doing too much. I started the month by smoking a lot of weed and sitting around at home nursing my sprained ankle.. as of writing this on December 31, it’s perfectly comfortable to walk basically any amount of distance but sometimes when I hit the ankle weird it’s still uncomfortable so I’m probably still not ready to skate. I was hoping that I’d be good to skate in 2025 but that might not be the case. I’ll probably get on my board when I get back home though.

I helped Devon set up his art exhibition – I set up the TV display which was a CRT which needed to convert digital files from a raspberry pi to analog which the crt could process, pretty simple but being involved in an art project in SF was cool. Also through this process met Jeff Cheung who runs Unity which is massively influential to me. Hyped on that.

At the end of the month I took off like 10 days from work and went back home to Chicago. Saw family and friends. Really nice to have a break. Excited for 2025.
