Mar 2025

<< February 2025April 2025 >>

March was a stable month. The month started amazing – I went to Detroit to celebrate my birthday with my family. This is probably the second to last time I will go to Detroit while Leila still lives there, I’d like to go again. Dearborn and Detroit are so sick.

After Detroit I drove back to Chicago and got to get some top top tier sleep in my parent’s house – the house that I grew up in. This is where I get the best sleep out of anywhere in the world. After this nap of the year candidate I went to the airport and flew to San Francisco and there I stayed for all of the rest of March.

I stayed in San Francisco for a whole month WOW! This is good though, I’ve been moving around a lot this year, staying still for a second is good news.

My ability to work has ebbed and flowed. I’ve been doing everything to squeeze productivity out of myself – including waking up at 5:45 AM most mornings. I wonder how many work days I do this – a couple days at the very end of March I didn’t start working til 9 AM due to burnout. I should track my wake up time – I could do this easily (and kind of do) with my mood tracker since entries are timestamped.

I exercised a good amount – I was decently active and went on a lot of runs to the Embarcadero and bike rides up to Golden Gate Park. I went to Golden Gate Park a bunch.

I’ve been hanging out on my roof

Terence visited me from LA and we went on a long ass trek through Golden Gate Park, watched a Warriors game, and saw the Palace of Fine Art.

I’ve been drawing a lot more, finding ways to get excited, trying to try new things and keep drawing fresh and something that I want to do.

At the end of the month my buddy Andrew has an opening at Hosfelt Gallery – he painted the walls of the gallery for his show and was here for like a week. We skated a couple times and I went to his show, he is super inspiring. Really successful guy who has a sick lifestyle and is a real man, the kind of person I want to be around.
