Every image on this website has tags attached to it.

I live in LA, and I’m from Chicago. Visiting these pages can give you insight into what I see in both of those cities.

Sometimes the tags are specific (drop ceiling) and other times they’re open ended (up, home) – intentionally curated to figure out what words and symbols mean to me.

When you click on an individual image and scroll to the bottom of that page, you can find all the tags associated to an image. You can use this to navigate through the site.

The interactive graph below shows trends over time and reveals trends about my life. For example – currently the 5 tags with the most images associated to them include three cities: LA (yellow), Chicago (green), and San Francisco(purple). When I lived in each of these respective cities, there is a condensed area where these are dominant tags on the graph. This reveals that I was taking a lot of pictures that were emblematic of each of these cities, meaning I was excited by being in these places. If you add other tags to this graph you will see similar trends. For example, if you select “skateboarding” you’ll see when I was spending a lot of time skateboarding, and if you select “original cartoons” you’ll see periods of time when I am creating a lot of work that I’m happy enough with to share with the internet.
