Shit that’s needed for systems to operate. Infrastructure is often invisible, so it’s notable when you can see it. Sometimes we are supposed to interact with this infrastructure. A water fountain is infrastructure – a public water fountain may be found in places that governing bodies want people to be at. A park, or a commercial area – these are environments where people are funneled to in order to create healthy societies. The healthier people are, the happier they’ll typically be. If they’re happy in a place, they’ll stay, and pay taxes. Thus, a water fountain can be an investment, a piece of infrastructure that supports a person staying in a physical place, in order to provide resources to the place, so the place can exist.

Infrastructure can be digital. A database could be a piece of infrastructure to an application.

Infrastructure could be a sign, infrastructure could be pipes, infrastructure could be art, infrastructure could be support, infrastructure could be a bridge or a street or a vehicle.
