My first month in San Francisco! Right before I left SF:

I’m on the second floor so we parked the Uhaul right outside my window and climbed up on the Uhaul and moved everything in via the window.

San Francisco is magical. I’ve had such a good time so far and many good things have been coming to me.

I’m getting the opportunity to be around beauty all the time, amazing skate spots, amazing weather.

This is Embarcadero, a place where street skateboarding as we know it was developed. Mark Gonzalez, my favorite skater ever, landed a bunch of legendary clips here. Kickflip gap, backside ollie gap, etc.

This is a building at 15th and Guerrerro, I walk past it all the time. Beautiful SF building, I am just blown away constantly by all the beauty I see every day.

I’m living in the Mission which is full of magic. This is a mural on an awning at 16th and Mission.

I got to check out the Unity through Skateboarding exhibition at SF MOMA with Devon and his friends. It’s an exhibit about community + queer identity in skateboarding. I am magnetized towards queer people and queerness and always have been – but I don’t understand fully understand it within myself.. or maybe how I am supposed to find harmony between queerness that’s inside of me and how to express it in a way that feels genuine. This exhibit was really beautiful and inspired me.

I want to skate this so bad.

This is Devon – I met him because one day I opened my door and Devon was taking a picture of my door. I introduced myself, and he invited me to his party. I went to the party and we became friends. He’s inspired me and shown me so much, I love sharing with him, he has such a strong, positive, creative energy and he lives 10 feet from me. Special energy to be around.
