2024 was a year with a lot of change and instability.

It started out with my relationship with Molly ending. This was a big deal – we were together for a year and a half, the longest relationship I’ve ever had. Molly had a really big impact on my life, we moved from Chicago to LA together. We lived together in Ktown for 8 months and then we lived apart for 3.5 months before things ended. The last really good memory with her was watching Perfect Blue together.

Immediately after that I went to Salt Lake City to go snowboarding by myself which was pretty fun. I remember coming back to the house and my roommate Morgan was in the garage doing some clothes stuff and she told me that I was the glue of the house and I said “haha yea.. cya” and went and showed all of my slc pics to Yves and Ari.

In February I went to San Francisco and had a fucking blast. Lucas and I drove up which was cool and then we skated for a whole weekend. I ate shit bombing down Haight street, which was thrilling, and got to see what chilling in SF was like. Cool.

Then I came back to LA, hung for a bit, and went to Chicago where I turned 28. I spent my birthday with family and friends.

Got back to LA and the roommate situation fell apart, Morgan called the cops on Yves, Yves blew up, we kicked Morgan out of the house. Morgan called the cops again, cops were shitty, Morgan got back in the house for a night. Next day we kicked the door in and she left the next day.

I started skating at Garvanza Park in the morning a lot where I would skate with Mexican freaks and punks and pros which was fun. I love GPark, one of my favorite skateparks.

I went to Montreal with Elizabeth. Best trip of the year, fun vacation.

Hit a stride at work in April and May and beginning of June. Really healthy time, still wasn’t drinking or smoking. Finally started eating good at this time, which has continued til now. Nothing insane but not eating fast food like I was in my early/mid twenties. More vegetables and fruit, lots of chicken breast.

Dated Kelsey at this time, but it wasn’t a great fit. Was fun though.

In the middle of June I planned a trip to fly from LA to NY. Then I would take trains back to LA over the course of a month. The stops were supposed to be NY, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Chicago, Lawrence, Gallup NM, LA. Instead I took a train to Pittsburgh then flew from Pittsburgh to Chicago, and then Chicago to KC. Then flew from KC to Chicago. Fun trip, got to see a lot of family in Lawrence and Chicago but stayed in Chicago for too long. Not good to do that, need more autonomy and ability to be crazy which is too uncomfortable to do at my parents’ house. Maybe I should just stop staying with my parents.

Oakland DIY – my boy Cam works on this, he’s a really good skater and codes too.

Met Rachel in Chicago, got along with her really well. Kept talking once I got back to LA mid July and made plans for her to visit me in LA.

Unfortunately first my housing situation in LA fell apart – my roommates broke up and didn’t tell me, although I could tell some weird shit was happening. Shirley moved in before I went on that whole trip, and she wasn’t getting along with Yves and I saw the writing on the wall. I didn’t want to be involved in another messy move out situation so I decided to leave. House became pretty uncomfortable.

At this point it was late July and I told the house I was gonna move out in September. Scrambled to find housing in SF. Tried to move in with this weird climate guy in Berkeley, that fell through, started to get scared about being able to move out. Found a SICK spot in SF, got that. Rachel came.

Sold my car. Picture inside my car in LA on the way to sell my car. Didn’t sell it this time, had to do a whole thing and then ultimately sell it for less than it was worth but now I don’t have to trip about a car. What a fuck around.

Souz came down from SF to help me move to SF. We had a sick little adventure where he helped me move out, then he came up to SF with me and helped me move in.

Souz had been living in SF but he moved back to LA at the same exact time I moved up to SF. We traded cities. Love him

My new apartment is perfect, it’s my own. I have a year lease til September 2025.

The apartment I’m in is in the Mission and it’s amazing — it has a bunch of sick people living in it, so I made a bunch of friends off rip.

Been hanging with Kendall since about mid September.

Got my bag stolen at UN plaza, which had my camera in it. Up til then I was using a Canon S110. Got a Ricoh GR Digital which is okay. Really miss my Ricoh GR that I got in LA for dirt cheap. GR Digital Picture looks like:

Went back to Chicago to hang with family mid October. Bought the OBJECT OF AFFECTION from genius Alex Quiroz.

Tried to get a new job and have been failing miserably in these technical interviews because I became retarded from using ChatGPT to code all year. Been doing Leetcode and coding without LLMs recently to try to become not retarded.

November was slow. Been depressed cuz the world and not excited about things and sprained my ankle skating in late November.
